So, Friday I had one child home, the other two went off to school and the husband worked from home. Unfortunately when my youngest came home she brought a friend with her. In a good way it kept the two youngest busy with the friend.
I primed the bathroom walls then I painted them RED. I didn't realize that I would need about 2 coats (I should have done one more). Oh well. This picture is after one coat. I don't know if I like the red. I will have to get used to it. My husband has told me that I have to wait awhile before I repaint it. Maybe if I put new curtains and pictures.....
On Sunday my husband and I painted the craft room. I do like how this turned out.

I think the red is very dramatic!
ReplyDeleteKarate, or whatever your son is doing, is well beyond what I can do. I trip over the step.
Hi Susan...I love your paint colors! I love red but have never had the nerve! Congrats to your son on passing his belt test! My daughter got half way to black belt...she had started her weapon training...and quit. I was sad because she was really good! Have a great week!...Debbie
ReplyDeleteWow! You have been busy, Susan. I actually like the red! The color of the craft room looks good too....Christine
ReplyDeleteLove the red! Congratulations to your son too.

ReplyDeleteHi there Susan.....I have a Red Bathroom in my game room and love it. It took at least 2 coats of red. And what a lucky lady to have a CRAFT room!! WOW!
ReplyDeleteSusan, I just finished a bathroom makeover myself! Like you, I wanted something a little different. After I painted it, I did not like it. I wanted to go by more paint right then to cover it. Once I put my shower curtain and pictures on the wall, I am so glad I didn't! I love how it turned out! I just had to see it all together! And I am SOOO jealous of your craft room too!
ReplyDeleteLove your blog!

I know how you feel about the red. We moved into a house that had red accent walls. I didn't particularly like the red they had so I changed it up. Made it more of a deep red, not quite so bright and I love it now! But I NEVER would have had the gumption to do it if a red hadn't already been there to begin with! =-) And lucky you to have a craft room! I hope to have one in my next house!
ReplyDeleteAnd congrats to your son! The photo shows him looking like a pro!
AND, I'm liking your blog! Thanks for sharing!
