What have I been up to?

I love nothing better then to go shopping. But one of my least favorite shopping trips is Sam's Club! Just our monthly shopping trip there. It was our son, me and one flatbed cart. Do you know how many stares we got going through there? I think they thought we were stockpiling a bunker! The picture shows only half of the load from Sam's. We couldn't open the other door or everything would have fallen onto the driveway! I will also tell you that I went to a grocery store and Wal-Mart before Sam's! Most of this will be gone within a few weeks.

This was before I did all of that other yucky shopping. I went to an estate sale and a few thrift stores. This was all the loot I could find!

I did find this on Saturday for my daughters to have tea parties on in their room. I am going to make some small cushions for the seats that match their curtains.

Gov. Blagojevich...

Our poor, poor Governor is out of a job as of now. He needed to be! Right now they are voting whether he can ever hold office again in the state. HA! Looks like he won't! My husband and I have only lived in this state for about 2 years now, but it didn't take long for us to realize that our Governor was crooked. He is/was so crooked that it makes Nixon look good! Yea!!! I am a very happy person now!

My Mother-In-Law Has A New Blog.....

I have set up a new blog for my mother-in-law who lives in England. She has been learning how to use a computer for the past 11 months and she has some hard times with it. Printers, Internet and so on.

She has been fascinated with blogs since I started one last year. I told her when she visits this summer that I would set her up a blog. Then I started thinking (which gets me in trouble) why can't I set one up for her today? I did that. Then she has to verify the account. Unfortunately after an hour of trying to get into the blog and her e-mail to verify the account and me trying to get into her e-mail, she realized wasn't on and she can't get it on. She is going to have to get someone to look at it. I don't know....

When she can get into it, update and do what people do on blogs, go visit her at A Happy Life!

Spring?

I had a dream last night that Spring was here and I was out in my garden and enjoying the sun. Unfortunately I woke up at the horrible hour of 5:30 am (that's when I have to get up) and it was 2 degrees outside!

The only upside to Winter is that I can get most of those projects done before spring comes. Which can't come too soon!

Something New .....

I have been thinking about putting a heading on the side titled, "What's for dinner tonight?".
Maybe if I type it out every morning then I will think about it and remember to make it for dinner. Another way for me to try and stay organized. Let's see how it works!
